Food to feed 4-6 month old and how - [my experience]

Hi friends! I am NOT a baby feeding expert, nor a doctor, nor a nutritionalist- I am just a mom sharing my experiences with people on the internet. I am doing my best to raise my kids & am hoping that I can encourage other moms along the way. Please keep that in mind as you watch this video and all others. My son Wilson began eating solids at 4 months old so in this video I will share how we did it with him and what we do now that he is 7 months old. He is still primarily breast fed but we are also offering him a variety of other soft foods. My daughter Eloise didn't want purees at all, she went from breastmilk to more solid forms of food when she was a bit older .. like 9+ months. Kids are different and have different preferences. At one point in the video I think I say something about steaming potatoes .. haha I have never steamed a potato .. no clue where that came from .. you can bake or mash a potato but steaming is a good way to prep carrots & broccoli.

They say -- "Babies' bodies aren't ready to digest and metabolize solid foods before 4 months. While the previous recommendation was to begin solids at 4-6 months, the general consensus in the medical community is that the best time to introduce solids is around 6 months.
One of the biggest signs that your baby is ready to start eating is that he can sit upright independently or with just a little support."
