Hey there, my name is Simon with SafeandVaultStore.com here today to talk about something pretty cool. That is the Simtek StealthALERT Safe Security Sensor. We're going to talk about a couple features that it has and how it can give you added peace of mind when you're away from your safe.

The StealthALERT has a passive infrared motion sensor, a light sensor, and an accelerometer to detect vibrations. It utilizes 4G to provide notifications over your cellular network rather than relying on WIFI. That gives it a distinct advantage over safe security sensors on the market because WIFI, at least in our experience, has proven to be less reliable.

On the top of the unit, you can see two of the sensors mentioned earlier. On this side, we've got a notification light. Flip it around to the back there is a micro sim card slot which will already be filled with the sim card that was provided inside the box. There is also a jack for an external antenna which is also included. On this side, we have a micro USB port. It's used to recharge the battery. Although the battery has an estimated life of one year, so you won't have to worry about that too often. On the underside, we've got a battery compartment here that houses that rechargeable battery.

There is an app that you use along with this device as well. You can use it to manage your account. It also keeps a timestamp of different events. You can use this to change what the notification will say when it's sent to your phone and also to rename your device. That way, you can have multiple devices in your home or other locations.

I think this device provides a unique security solution that can be used for your safes, or it can be used in a room in your house or potentially in a car. You can setup multiple of them on one account, so you're covered on all basis. The fact that this one uses cellular data instead of WIFI gives it a really good advantage over other products on the market. The external antenna makes it so that even if you had a high security safe with thick steel walls, you'll still get good reception and you can still get notifications when it's important.
