The Lansing Board of Water and Light falcon chicks are ready to be tracked. On Thursday, animal experts weighed and named the chicks. And then put color coordinated bands on the birds. The bands will allow them to track the migration patterns of the birds. The falcon family currently lives at the top of the BWL Eckert power station in a nesting site. The peregrine falcon is on the endangered species list in Michigan.
