Random Rants: WGA Union: Give Us Government Regulations On Hollywood And A BLOATED Writers Room!

In the latest twist in the Hollywood Writers strike, just when it looks like the writers might be making a move to get back to work, the WGA called for heavy government involvement to regulate three of the major players: Disney, Netflix and Amazon, citing "anti-competitive practices".

The irony of this statement coming from a union is not lost on anyone, but beyond that, the union isn't budging on its biggest strike gripe: giant writers rooms of 6-12 writers, even though some of the veteran showrunners never asked for it. But who does that benefit? Answer: Bad writers
