This is my first multi-media video creation (I'm a noob at this stuff, so I apologize in advance). It was done to celebrate my first year of consistently and passionately creating #art after decades of self-imposed dormancy.

I was formerly trained as an #artist, but decided to get married early & have children. After that it was work a day job for a living while my kids were growing up. Now I have an #emptynesterlife that still is dominated by a day job, but actively creating art part time as well.

For years, I didn't create because I let fear of imperfection or creating "bad art" inhibit me from creating anything. Now I find I want to #draw or #paint something almost daily- I'm just so sorry it took me turning 50 before I stepped out of fear and into this new chapter in my life. This channel is part of my goals going into year two. Won't you join me on this journey?

I do not have an Instagram-I'm 50-something years old. Isn't that for the young and gorgeous? I think I'm too old for a bazillion social media profiles anyways, am I right? LOL
