Tamron SP 45mm f/1.8 Di VC USD lens review with samples (Full-frame and APS-C)

Here's something /really/ interesting - Tamron are overhauling their 'SP' brand with an exciting 50mm (almost) image stabilized lens, for full-frame cameras! How good really is it - is it worth the extra cost, and size, and weight, over its competitors?
