Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 VC USD lens review with samples (Full-frame and APS-C)

An affordable, full-frame, image-stabilized, zoom lens that goes as wide as 15mm (!) is a pretty exciting idea to say the least. But how on earth can Tamron's new lens perform - could the designers squeeze in enough picture quality to match their bold parameters?
