Alton McClain and Destiny converge with Stephanie Mills as the Mayor is hard at it for the Saturday Segue City Special as his confectionary skills are on full display. We, on the other hand, are not on display. We're resting comfortably in an air conditioned environment that allows us respite from the last ravages of the high temp part of summer around here... We'll get around to thinking about segues for next week tomorrow... yeah, that's when we'll do it...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same... We kinda proved that this week didn't we?
