The Filipino school teacher who killed 200 Japanese Soldiers in WW2

In 1941, Imperial Japan invaded the Philippines. seizing Filipino belongings, looting businesses, and allowing no education. After suffering great loss, oppression and yearning for freedom, Nieves Fernandez, a primary school teacher took charge amidst danger. As the Japanese threatened her students, her ferocious instincts surged to a stealthy assassin. Killing dozens of Japanese men. Fernandez quickly gained Fame as the silent killer and prepared jungle ambushes armed with a homemade shotgun crafted from a gas pipe. For two and a half years, Fernandez continually carried out ambushes on her own and killed many more Japanese soldiers. The Japanese exhausted by Fernandez offered a 10 000 pesos reward for her capture. However, Nieves still continued and l 110 locals into a final attack where they claimed 200 Japanese lives.
