I am pregnant again!!! (+ a gender reveal!!!)

Surprise! The gender reveal starts at 16:04. Eloise finding out about the baby starts a minute or two before that. Love you guys!!
(PS. I am only 13/14 weeks pregnant. We found out the gender via a blood test.)

We are having another baby! This bonus baby was far from planned and honestly it has taken me a bit of time to get excited about this pregnancy, though I believe every baby is gift and I don't take that for granted. I just didn't feel ready in a million ways so my fears were overwhelming. Not to mention the fact that I found out about the new baby right as we began our Stay-At-Home order for Covid 19 so I was experiencing a whirlwind of nausea, fatigue and hormones all while adjusting to life stuck at home with little ones. It was challenging for sure. Either way we are grateful for another opportunity to grow our family.

As for the gender reveal .. I would not normally have chosen to find out the gender of our new baby this early but when the doctor asked if I wanted to know this time, because she had received the results of my blood test, I immediately said yes. For me knowing the gender helps me to connect with the idea of the new baby. There has been so much fear, anxiety, and vomiting connected to this surprise pregnancy and knowing the gender of my child has helped me to understand how worth it this all is. I will make another video sharing openly about my process of finding out I am pregnant and how I handled my difficult feelings about the baby, but that video won't be as happy as this one and we wanted to keep this centered on goodness and celebration. As the pregnant mother of a 4 year old and a nearly 11 month old - who have all been stuck at home together since March - there are A LOT of feelings happening over here. But even so, our family is choosing gratitude and joy as we prepare to grow together later this year. Thank you for celebrating with us! We are all excited about the new baby girl who will be joining us in November.
