It might sound a little strange to put a sack like this in your shoes, but wait until you hear what it's for! Because this little bag has something very specific in it and that is baking soda.

Because bicarbonate of soda binds bad odors and certainly you have some shoes that do not smell very pleasant. This is no wonder, after all, you have the shoes on a lot and therefore comes then also the bad smell.

To counteract this, you can put some baking soda on a kitchen towel, crumple it up and fix it with a rubber band. This way the baking soda should stay in the bag and not fall out.

Put this bag in your shoes and leave it overnight. The next morning the smell should be gone and the shoes smell pleasantly neutral again.
