Do NOT Negotiate On Price

I never want to give people a discount. If there's a movement in price, there must be some give and take, meaning I'm not just gonna randomly say I can do it for a thousand less. They have to, if I'm gonna do a retail roof for a thousand less, there's line items coming out.

There has to be an exchange. Otherwise, we open up to this world of negotiation based on price, which we never want. We're negotiating a service, not a dollar amount. It's a bad, bad, slippery slope in my experience and in my opinion what I would recommend is instead of giving the cash discount or offering that, Instead, what I would do is say, listen, I am more than happy to help you with your deductible.

We can do that by using the actual cash value payments of any damage that's identified. I can help maximize everything that we've identified that's covered, and then use the stuff that you don't wish to do towards your deductible. Doing it that way is a hundred percent legal and you've got nothing to worry about.
