Chaotic Seam-Stressing: Sewing a Floor Pillow Full of Fabric Scraps with Fabric Scraps!

Welcome back to Sincerely, Kaylani and for another episode of "Chaotic Seam-Stressing" where we go on a journey through my creative process that is messy but the results are cute and functional!

Today, I am making a floor pillow for my brother using 5 years worth of fabric scraps to fill the pillow and some furniture samples for the pillow case.

Tip for those who sew:
If your pieces are larger than a piece of printer paper (8.5"x11") then it can be recycled through textile recycling program through Diabetes Canada by dropping CLEARLY LABLED bags to Value Villages or through donation boxes in your town/city.
If your pieces are smaller than the measurements above then consider collecting them in an old pillow case or bag for future use. Use the scraps to fill floor pillows, door stoppers, make fully fabric buttons. Why not put the bag/pillow case in a garbage bin to make it easier to collect your scraps.
