FX Independence - AOA Showcase

The FX Independence has been referred to as the "holy grail" of airguns. The precharged, self-contained, repeating action is the reason the name is deserved. The various different airgun powerplants all have inherent positive and negative attributes. The spring piston system is self-contained, but suffers from recoil and vibration as well as lending itself to poor repeating capabilities. The multi-pump system is recoilless, but suffers from difficult and time-consuming effort. The precharged-pneumatic system is both recoilless and easily designed as a repeater, but suffers from requiring an external source of power such as a dive bottle or high-pressure hand pump.
