An international crew is gearing up for a momentous journey to the International Space Station, courtesy of NASA's SpaceX Crew-7 mission.

Comprising NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Andreas Mogensen, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Satoshi Furukawa, and cosmonaut Konstantin Borisov from Roscosmos, this stellar team is poised to engage in a myriad of activities aboard the space station. These activities include conducting cutting-edge technology demonstrations, carrying out vital science experiments, and performing essential maintenance tasks in the unique environment of microgravity.

Scheduled for launch no earlier than 3:27 a.m. EDT on Saturday, August 26th, from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center, Crew-7 represents a significant milestone in NASA's Commercial Crew Program. It marks the eighth human spaceflight mission facilitated by a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft and the seventh crew rotation mission to the space station since 2020, firmly cementing the partnership between NASA and SpaceX in advancing human space exploration.
