MZTV 1288: The Sneaky Way to Give Up Grievous Sins

In 1 Corinthians chapter 6, Paul is not telling anyone to stop doing anything. This is not the law of Moses dressed up in a sheep suit. Rather, Paul is setting forth an allotment in the kingdom of God and Christ above and beyond “mere” membership in the body of Christ. It is the contemplation of such superior glory that, along with grace, has the power to keep one from continuing in the most grievous sins known to humanity.
