In this diy video, we continue to construct the cabin in the woods in the Smoky Mountains using both modern and traditional hand tools but starting another project of building an outdoor forest kitchen in preparation of better tasting food cooked over the grill and in the earthen oven. We are digging and cementing holes for the posts after burning the bottoms to put them in the ground by preserving them longer, and get some of the floor joist set. It is coming along well and hope you follow us through the complete building videos to the final stage of the cabin, outdoor forest kitchen, basecamp and future barn on the homestead.
