Police discover child left alone in apartment

A Batavia man, wanted by police on a petit larceny charge, has also admitted to leaving his one-year-old child alone in a hot apartment. Police say they responded to the apartment on North Spruce Street around 9:30 p.m. Monday, looking for 40-year-old Charles Rodriguez Sr. in connection to an ongoing investigation
