You have probably seen those line-shaped clouds that airplanes leave behind them, which are most visible on a clear sky. Their composition is made of mostly water in the form of ice crystals, which form when the water vapor in the engine exhaust meets the low temperatures at those altitudes.

Contrails can also be visible above ground, just after the airplane takes off or before it lands. One employee at the Arlanda Airport in Stockholm had the opportunity to record the formation of these clouds during both the take off and the landing of Thai Airlines aircrafts.

The employee says: "It was a damp day at Arlanda airport so I decided to go there to capture some beautiful plane condensation trails."
