At 1:47 am EST (6:47 UTC) on November 16 NASA's Orion spacecraft launched aboard the SLS rocket form historic launch complex 39 B at NASA's Kennedy space center on a path to the moon, officially beginning the Artemis l mission
This mission is the first integrated test of NASA's deep space exploration system : the orion spacecraft , the SLS rocket, and Kennedy space center ground system.
