Sumner Co SB member challenges the Director to protect students by removing inappropriate books

The Bluest Eye is the newest book that a Sumner County school board member attempted to challenge, but was met with pushback from the Director of Schools, essentially trying to move the goalpost rather than following their own policy. Why is there such a push to keep these books in our school libraries? They’re afraid of a
