SpaceX and NASA teamed up to launch a Falcon 9 rocket carrying a Cargo Dragon spacecraft that delivered research and supplies to the International Space Station for the 28th Commercial Resupply Services mission. The launch took place on June 5, 2023, from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The rocket’s first stage landed on a droneship in the Atlantic Ocean, marking the fifth reuse of this booster. The Dragon capsule docked with the orbiting lab on June 6, carrying about 7,000 pounds of cargo, including a new set of roll-out solar arrays to boost the station’s power, as well as various science experiments and student projects.
