Deputy Minister of Defence of Russian Federation Timur Ivanov inspects construction progress of military hospitals in Bryansk, Belgorod and Kursk

The construction of six medical centres in Dagestan, Sevastopol, Ryazan, Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk is being carried out by order of the President of the Russian Federation in order to improve the system of medical support for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

🏗 The first of the six military hospitals being built by specialists of the Military Construction Complex of the Russian Ministry of Defence will be completed as early as November 2023.

▫️ At present, new medical centres are being built in the Republic of Dagestan, Sevastopol, Ryazan, Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk.

▫️ A planned phased commissioning of the new hospitals is planned from November this year.

▫️ Today, as part of a business trip to the troops of the Western Military District, Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Timur Ivanov checked the progress of construction in Bryansk, Belgorod and Kursk.

▫️ In Bryansk, Timur Ivanov was accompanied by Governor of Bryansk region Aleksandr Bogomaz, at the construction site of a new medical complex.

▫️ At the end of the trip, the Deputy Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation held a meeting with Head of the Main Military Medical Department the Russian Ministry of Defence Dmitry Trishkin and representatives of design and construction organisations of the Russian Ministry of Defence, during which tasks were set to further increase the pace of construction. Timur Ivanov also paid special attention to the necessity of meeting the deadlines for the works.

▫️ The hospitals will be equipped with the best medical devices and equipment, which will make it possible to provide specialised high-tech medical care to servicemen, members of their families, military pensioners, as well as to the civilian population of the country's regions.
