It's day 24 of the #EveryBitCountsChallenge and today we want to make use of celery before it just turns soggy in the refrigerator! Sometimes it's hard to use up all your celery before it goes bad, and freezing just simply does not work! Never fear! Kristy will show you a great way to extend the shelf life and give you a healthier option for something you probably keep on hand anyway. The celery salt you buy from the store has preservatives in it, which might extend the shelf life, but it detracts from the all natural health benefits of this great seasoning from day 1! If you make your own in small batches you have a better option that will give you three or four months of shelf life and all you need is a way to dry, a way to crush, and a way to mix!
