️Feminine Front (2022)

The new film Feminine Front is about women taking part in the conflict in Donbass. Natalya is a medical platoon leader who helps evacuate the wounded from the front line. Nika, who went to the front after the nationalists almost killed her children and mother, commands artillery crews. Anna, a former flight attendant, is lieutenant of a rifle division. At first, her fellow soldiers did not believe that Anna could be a good fighter. But she proved them wrong.

RT's military documentary filmmakers visited the home of the legendary Olga Kachura, codenamed ‘Сorsa’. She was the only female commander in the DPR. Proud and defiant, Сorsa died in August under Ukrainian shelling. In the film, her daughter Alyona, who served in her unit for four years, talks about her mother. She left the service because her mother asked her to. Сorsa wanted at least one of them to be safe.
