As parents we are constantly presented with opportunities to gather people .. from birthdays, to dinners, to school events, and backyard play dates. Not to mention the fact that many of us have jobs which require us to gather people for some kind of meeting, conference, or a lunch date with co-workers. I recently read the book "The Art of Gathering: How we Meet and Why it Matters" by Priya Parker and it was so deeply impactful.
