There's an incredibly good reason why you should squeeze a regular PET bottle down your drain. Because you can actually save a whole lot of money with this genius trick.

Especially if your drain isn't draining well, a PET bottle can help and save you a plumber. First fill the bottle halfway with water.

You should also fill your sink with water. You should also plug the hole at the top of the sink with a rag. Now go with the opened PET bottle as deep as possible into your drain and press the bottle several times vigorously in succession.
