What's goin on Tac Army!? I'm Erick Benhardtson, your host for TMTV's Headbangers Ball!

The old adage goes, "Imitation is the best form of flattery!" This can one of two ways. Really great or utterly fuckin' terrible. Well, on this week's show we're going to show you 90 minutes of worth of some of the world's best, playing the music that inspired them. If you, like me got your start at a young age playing the music that you loved and got with some folks and started a band; if you weren't the best songwriter, you played covers. Covers are the best way for a band to learn stage artistry. You can go through any recording artist's library and find them playing a cover. From Duke Ellington to Zeppelin and all bands and artists in between.

The Ball is a weekly show of the greatest heavy music we've all grown up with. I'm GenX. When I was a kid, Headbanger's Ball was our Saturday Night Party. Jean and leather jackets with all of favorite bands were worn proudly watching rock and metal videos in the 80's until MTV went and bent us over in '95. Leaving us with other shows that just weren't The Ball.
