Civilian pulls over drunk driver - takes away his keys!
Watch as this Good Samaritan pulls over a drunk driver and gives him a second chance! After identifying the drunk driver in front of him swerving across the multi-lane roadway, he decided to trail the vehicle to a halt.
According to the civilian, he didn't know if that was the right thing to do (authorities ask to contact local law enforcement if you encounter a drunk driver on the road), but he did manage to prevent this driver from staying on the road.
The six-minute footage shows the Good Samaritan following the swerving vehicle going at over 70 miles per hour. When they finally reached a red light, he calls the drunk driver to stop at the side of the road. He then approaches the car, tells the man to turn the engine off and then confiscates his keys.
If caught by the police, this man could be looking at a 20 year prison sentence for his demeanor.
