Rescued chicken now lives the good life as pet

When this family rescued this little chick, they decided to provide the bird with a free life as a domestic pet, away from exploitation and suffering in pens. The chick grew out of it’s baby feathers to become a gorgeous brown hen, which is treated to all the love and respect that she deserves.

The hen now lives with the family’s black-and-white cat as an equal pet, receiving all the cuddles and hugs she can handle. She is so happy when she lays an egg, she bursts into song.
