'Couldn't have IMAGINED IT BETTER!' | Bernardo Silva on Man City after extending contract till 2026

Bernardo Silva has signed a one-year contract extension with Manchester City which will see him remain at the club until summer in 2026.

The Premier League and European champions announced the news on Wednesday in an interview with the Portuguese midfielder.

Speaking about why he made the decision, the 29-year-old said, "It has been wanting to keep winning."

"In six years, we have won five Premier Leagues, one Champions League and all of the cups. I couldn’t have it much better to be honest", he added.

Silva joined the club in 2017 and since his arrival has made 308 appearances and won 15 trophies with Pep Guardiola's City.

He made 55 appearances in their incredible 2022/23 treble-winning season, which saw the club lift the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history.
