Daryl Hall minus John Oates and Leonid and Friends reprising an Earth, Wind and Fire song even better than the original and just like that, the Friday Segue City Special is finished and so are we for the week and the Mayor can come in and do his thing for the weekend. We'll be catching the last train to the coast with Don McLean and others so have yourselves a wonderful weekend... that's what we plan on having...
Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.
It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.
Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
