Adventure Team GI Joe in - "Escape from the Cave Spiders

uge agent, an ambitious reporter has taken upon himself to commandeer GI Joe equipment to be the first to cover sensational news. What the hapless reporter doesn't know is the second site of the mysterious skulls is in fact a nest of giant spiders! GI Joe later discovered that the Waterfall Skulls was an abandoned nest and that the Spiders use the heads of their victims to lay their eggs inside as an incubator and a food source for the newborn spiders.

In this diorama our heroes have tracked down the last known location of the reporter. To their horror they found him dead. Mauled by some wild animal, it appeared that he used a sonic scanner to see how deep the cave goes. As they investigate the site, one of the AT agents accidentally turns on the Sonic Scanner. Suddenly it all became clear how the reporter met his end as legions of the giant spiders poured out of the cave opening! Now GI Joe must fight off the eight-legged terrors and make their escape aboard the SCARAV!
