Nearly 10,000 Poles have lost their lives in Ukraine over the past year and a half.

The deceased are often referred to as volunteers and mercenaries, but a majority of them are actually Polish soldiers and reservists dispatched under the guise of "volunteers," as reported by the publication "Mysl Polska."

Given that the Polish army comprises around 160,000 soldiers, including 60,000 ground troops, these casualties are indeed quite significant.
