Last year I made the decision to branch out of my comfort zone (The Bahamas) and sail to Grenada for hurricane season. The Bahamas is not an easy place to leave, but eventually a beautiful weather window approached and it was time to really leave. Not only was I leaving a place I called home, but I was heading offshore for multiple days alone! My longest single-handed passage up until this point was 36-40 hours and now I was going for multiple days AND into one of the most feared passages; the Mona Passage.
