The President of the Republic of South Africa and Chair of BRICS, Cyril Ramaphosa announced the outcomes of the XV BRICS Summit on Thursday, 24 August 2023, at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg.

Leaders from South Africa, Russia, Brazil, India, and China participated in the international program of the 15th BRICS Summit in South Africa, which took place on August 22-24 2023.

Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates have been formally accepted as new block members.
