Fear Of A Queer Beer Boycott

Boycotting a beer company because they were trying to appeal to a certain audience seems ridiculous to me. Instead of being angry and boycotting why not engage in civilized discussion? Why cant we elevate out of the tribalism and hateful fighting? If you think Im wrong please tell me why.
