12 days on Beautiful Drummond Island - Michigan

Have you ever wondered what it is like on Drummond Island? Let us show you some of the sites and sounds of this BEAUTIFUL island. When friends invited us, we had no idea what to expect, so we searched out for videos on YT to get some ideas. So many great info out there but also a few that put a seed of doubt. One video even said that Drummond was a bust! Our biggest fears where not being able to actually get onto the water to walk the beaches, not being able to get supplies if we forgot something and of course medical attention if it was needed. As you will see, there were amazing public places, there are multiple small convenient stores, a small grocery store, ice cream shops, a couple restaurants, a medical office and even a Hardware store. The campground (Township Park) was only a few miles from the Ferry. Electric as available at most sites or within reach if you had an extension cord. Shared water spigots were available along with dumpsters and pit toilets. Many of the other guests at the park had been coming to that park for a life time and many were there for the season. We rode our e-bikes almost everyday and did a few day trips. We can't say enough good things about Drummond Island. If you love side by side trails, this would be a dream trip.
