Blocking the Russian NORD Stream Pipeline

"The Danish foreign minister came out and said, we're not going to use 5G equipment from non-democratic nations. And then we also blocked working with the White House, the Russian gas pipeline, and Nord Stream II. The only place it was never completed was my area of responsibility, and we were very proud of that. We had the first year it was in Danish waters, and the second year in their exclusive economic zone. And the third year I had the threat of sanctions. And so it was a success." Amy. Carla Sands
