Come float away with us…for science! In this Goddard Glossary, we looked at scientific balloons, which allow us to fly scientific instruments high above Earth’s atmosphere. Right now, a NASA scientific balloon has made its third loop around the southern hemisphere to study the universe, and we’re preparing to launch another balloon from New Zealand!
