3 Lions Bring Down Buffalo In Epic Battle *Not For Sensitive Viewers*

This video is not for sensitive viewers. During a morning drive at MalaMala game reserve we came across 3 lionesses bringing down a large buffalo. We watched the battle between these animals for over an hour with the rest of the buffalo herd often coming back and trying to chase the lions away. Eventually the buffalo was too injured to get away and the one lioness went off into the bush and came back with cubs. The cubs began to feed on the buffalo while it was still alive until eventually it succumbed to its injuries. It was remarkable to see the fight for survival from the buffalo as well as the strength of the 3 lionesses. There is another video of this sighting on the MalaMala Youtube page:
