In this episode of the ET Newsroom, we visit war time Britain, and one of its heroes, Lord Hugh Dowding, who masterminded the Battle of Britain, and whose strategy ensured the sovereignty of the UK. The fact that both he and Prime Minister, Winston Churchill were looking into the UFO question is the start of something ongoing. Dowding's promotion of the modernisation of the Air Force planes, and his championing of radar which is partly what had Hitler's team on the back foot.

From the new technology that was radar, it wasn't long before non human vehicles were seen going around 10,000mph spotted on radar...this sent Dowding down a rabbit hole or two, as well as Churchill.

Peter spent a lot of time and effort using his not inconsiderable artistic skills in the production of material, from paintings, objects and books in aid of RAF charities, and had the opportunity to meet with and get to know Lady Dowding not long after her husband died in 1970.

Peter shows us around some of his inspiring art work and even a model or two, all allied to things of the airforce.

This 33.33' episode is fascinating and reminds us of the importance of personal and national sovereignty, as far as I'm concerned. Enjoy this episode and please like, share and subscribe.
