Minneapolis Teachers Strike For First Time In 40+ Years

Minneapolis Public Schools educators tell us they’re forced to work 2-3 jobs to make ends meet, and some of their coworkers are homeless.Teachers and educators with the Minneapolis Federation of Teachers Local 59 are striking to demand at least $35K/year. It’s their first strike in nearly 50 years.
