Farmworkers in Maine have been targeted by a Jim Crow Era law. They're legally paid less than minimum wage and can't unionize. Lawmakers in Maine passed a bill to allow farmworkers to organize. Governor Janet Mills vetoed it. But these workers and advocates aren't giving up.
