She is speaking out about her 20-year-old autistic child who was told he is trans by teachers and peers at school because of specific interests he had, like My Little Pony for example. Courtney's story really grabbed my attention and I'm so lucky that she agreed to sit down and chat with me. Transitioning is a serious life-altering situation, and it should never be taken lightly.
