Lily Tang Williams was born to illiterate parents in Szechuan and experienced poverty firsthand. Thanks to her talent, hard work, and her family’s “noble” status, she went on to study law and became an assistant professor at a top university in Shanghai. With a borrowed $100, Lily came to the U.S. to pursue her American dream and met her future husband on arrival. It took her 20 years of living in America to realize that she had been a victim of CCP’s indoctrination, and it was a moment of reckoning. She is running for Congress in New Hampshire. Lei and Lily offer their perspectives on life in America, the CCP, the U.S. and geopolitics.
