The Artemis crew will visit places on the Moon that have never been explored by humans. They will specifically go to the South Pole, which has the largest crater on the Moon, regions with almost constant light and profound shadows, and some of the coldest temperatures in the solar system. We can learn more about the history of the Moon and the solar system by exploring the South Pole. Frozen water can be found there, which is essential for maintaining life on the lunar surface and conducting further space exploration. For the benefit of all of humanity, Artemis astronauts will travel to the Moon and return with lunar rocks and soil for future generations of scientists to study, providing us with previously unfathomable insights into the history of the universe.
