Our Ragdoll cat, Bowie, frequently sleeps on his back. He slumbers on his back, allowing him to gaze out the window at things like birds. He even plays on his back occasionally. Bowie has an easygoing demeanor. It is not a must for all Ragdoll cats, but it is usually a characteristic of them.
