You can’t kill giants publicly if you have not conquered lions privately.

"But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it." 1 Samuel 17v34-35

Private victories precede public victories.

Lions attack those God intends to use.

God allows lions to prepare you for the giants.

“This is what the LORD says: "As a shepherd rescues from the lion's mouth only two leg bones or a piece of an ear, so will the Israelites living in Samaria be rescued, with only the head of a bed and a piece of fabric from a couch.” Amos 3v12

What you have left is more important than what you lost.

"When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him." Mark 5v6

1. The way of deliverance is paved with storms. (Mark 4v35-41)

2. Jesus’ presence doesn’t drive out demons but makes them manifest. (Mark 5v7)

3. Demons need to be cast out; they don’t leave on their own (Mt 8v16; 9v33; 10v1; 10v8; 12v28; Mark 1v34; 1v39; 3v15; 6v13; 16v9; 16v17; Lk 13v32)

4. Jesus had repeatedly ordered the unclean spirit to leave. (Mark 5v8)

5. There are signs that someone has a demon, just like there are symptoms when someone gets a fever.

How to spot a demon?
1. Fascination with death and tombs
2. Loss of control
3. Compulsive behavior (self-harm)
4. Constant nightmares
5. Intrusive thoughts
6. Intense desires for defiled things
7. Manifesting demons during prayer
8. Recurring problems of parents repeating in your life
9. Fascination with the occult
10. Paranormal activity

6. Demons torment people. Deliverance torments demons.

7. We don’t have conversations with demons, but we can interrogate demons.

"Then they came to Jesus and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid." Mark 5v15
