What do you do when you can’t depend on something anymore?

You do it for yourself.

My One Day at a Time Diary has been very successful over the last 5 years, but last year the distributor didn’t put it in the shops. I was heartbroken.

Upon approaching them this year I discovered that my publisher didn’t want to go ahead with the diary anymore. They didn’t give me a reason why until I pushed them and they said it was poor sales last year and the cost of printing it, but I don’t think that’s the real reason.

I asked for the rights to do it myself. It was a long road to create it from scratch and I wanted to share my journey as many people don’t understand the trials and tribulations of publishing - whether it’s self-publishing or traditional. There’s nothing secret about it - people simply don’t talk about it. I’m talking about it!

I have the 2024 diary that I made, I just got the “your book is published” notice from Amazon. Yay!! 🎉🥳😭 I’m excited to share my story with you here. I’ll share the actual diary in another video soon.
